The results are in for the contest on Marketing Sherpa readers’ favourite marketing-related blogs and podcasts of 2006.

A few people I know did well. Joseph Jaffe won ‘Best Podcast on the topic of Marketing’ category for the Across The Sound podcast. Congrats, Joseph! Matthew Podboy won the ‘Best Blog on the Topic of PR’ category for his Active Voice blog. Congrats to you, Matt!

For the contest, Marketing Sherpa emailed their 237,000 readers – mostly marketers in the US, 65% of them B-to-B marketers – seeking nominations. After a short list was produced, those readers were then emailed again asking them to vote. Visitors to the site could also vote, as I did. You could vote as many times as you want. I voted only the once!
