If you scan the code, you get the menu. So you know QR codes have hit the mainstream when the kebab house uses one like this.

    if you scan the code you get the menu? doesn't the menu have the QR code on it? infinite loop?

    At Reading station (and presumably elsewhere) you can scan a QR code on the big display timetables to download a pocket timetable for your route on to your smartphone. Very helpful for me to decide which train to catch for the way home.
