restingcommunicators

If you’re in organizational communication and have lost your job, a new support group focused on LinkedIn, the business-oriented social network, might just be what you need.

Anyone in an organizational communication role isn’t immune from the consequences of global recession: job losses, layoffs, redundancies, pick your tag, the result is the same.

Robin Crumby, CEO of Melcrum, let me know about Resting Communicators, a new group in LinkedIn that he formed last month to provide those in the UK who’ve lost their jobs or are facing that prospect with help, support and guidance.

Just the type of thing a LinkedIn group is ideal for.

Go ahead, sign up. And read Robin’s post for a bit more background.

Thanks for mentioning the group, Neville. There’s nothing out there right now to bring out-of-work communicators together to swap stories, share opportunities and support each other. We’re just planning the first networking evening with an invited expert to advise on interview techniques etc Appreciate your support.
