Do you have an opinion about anything to do with that intersection of online communication, business and technology? A pressing thought in your mind on a PR topic we discussed in a recent episode of the For Immediate Release podcast, or something another listener said? Now’s your chance to tell the world in real time.
As regular listeners to our podcast know, Shel and I are hosting show number 142 tomorrow as a live Skypecast.
You’ll be able to participate in the conversation in real time as we record this episode of our bi-weekly podcast. You need a free Skype account in order to do this, which means you can participate for free from wherever you are in the world.
The FIR Skypecast starts at 4pm GMT on June 1. That’s 9am on the US west coast, midday on the east coast, 5pm in the UK, 6pm in most of continental Europe (and for late-night antipodeans, it’s 2am Friday in Sydney, Australia). This page will help you determine your correct timezone vs GMT from anywhere in the world.
In addition, we’ll have a real-time chat system up and running. You can use this back channel to text-talk via your keyboard with everyone else participating.
How to be part of the show
- Sign in to your Skype account
- At 4pm GMT on June 1, go to the FIR Skypecast page
- Follow the simple instructions
- If you also wish to join live chat, go to the FIR chat page on the podcast site
We hope you’ll join us in our grand experiment!
