Here’s a good example of a mainstream medium that ‘gets it’ concerning its journalists blogging.

The Daily Telegraph’s news editor Shane Richmond has posted the Telegraph blogging style guide:

[…] that we send to our writers when they first start blogging. It’s very long for a blog post but I’m sure some of you will find it interesting. Our writers have different levels of experience with blogs, and the internet in general, when they start so the guide assumes no prior knowledge and makes some points that many of you will find very basic.
