    WordPress 2.7 is all about the user

    The latest version 2.7 of the WordPress blogging platform for self-hosted blogs was released this week, and a terrific upgrade it is. The first thing to notice is the brand new structure of the administration interface, aka the dashboard (click the thumbnails for full-size ‘after’ and ‘before’ screenshots): Most obvious in 2.7’s dashboard is the light grey colour scheme with subtle colour hints when you move your mouse over a link.
